Medtronic is running a patient programming workshop for healthcare professionals involved in Sacral Nerve Stimulation

This workshop provides participants with the knowledge, tools and skills necessary to effectively program and manage patients receiving Interstim® Therapy.

The hands-on workshop will be coordinated by Medtronic

Diagnosis: How to use the algorithm and "simulated operations". Ian Hocking and Peter Petros.

Surgery: Various videos. TFS applied for the midurethral sling, cystocoele (ATFP and cardinal ligament defects), uterine and vault prolapse, for rectocoele and perineal body defects.

Comments on surgical methodology and in particular learning curves. Drs Inoue, Sekiguchi, Yoshimura and Liedl.

CLINICAL AUDIT WORKSHOP (Dr Bernie Brenner)

Workshop on Database Design for Clinical Audit. This workshop involves tuition in designing a MS Access database with applications for urogynae audit. Participants would need to bring a notebook with Access software. Most people know Excel but few are familiar with database and it is very useful for clinical audit - a very powerful tool.
