Ultrasound Training Workshops

Ultrasound training workshops are conducted by Dr Philippa Ramsay.

                    Location: San Ultrasound for Women, Level 3, Sydney Adventist Hospital

                    Format: Didactic lectures with Hands on Training using Patient Volunteers

                    Duration: Half Day Workshops

                    Cost:  Half Day Workshop $250

This workshop will focus on giving you hands-on experience with gynaecological ultrasound. There will be an introductory lecture with Pre and Post tests in order to obtain RANZCOG PRCRM Points. This will be followed by a two-hour practical session where delegates will have

• Individualized guidance
• Small groups
• hands-on scanning
• volunteer patients with known pathology.

There will also be expert tutelage in film reading with still films on computer screen.

Refreshments will be provided.

To optimize the opportunities for learning places are limited to 5 per session.
